Carriage Class delivered to JPL for joint mobility trials

Tharsis Yard completed acceptance testing on serial 014 and serial 015 of the Carriage class this month and transferred both vehicles to JPL's Mars Yard for the joint MRS / JPL terrain-response trial program. The 90-day program will exercise the autonomy fallback layer under closed-loop perception faults and characterize crew-rated brake performance on simulated regolith slopes up to 28 degrees.

Results will feed directly into the v3 autonomy stack release scheduled for first delivery in Q3 2027.
